Olivanders wand shop

Olivanders Wand Shop: here you can watch a wand choose a wizard. This interactive shop selects one wizard or witch out of every group to be selected by a wand. Watch as the wands retaliate or agree against the wizard. Once finished with the show, you can buy your very own wand, or select a replica wand of one of the many Harry Potter characters.

Unfortunately, I was not picked for the interactive show. Only one wizard is selected out of a group of about twenty people. Just like the castle, this line will get extremely long, and my mom waited in line for over an hour. The experience was still so fun and you feel the magic around you. Once the show is over, you are brought into another part of the wand shop where you can tell a worker your birthday, or a special date that is important to you, and see what wand is linked to the date. Being a "potterhead", I ended up buying two souvenirs from this shop. I got Hermoine's time turner, and also the replica of Dumbledore's wand, or in other words the mysterious Elder Wand! The best part about the wands is that they are not some cheap plastic, they are meant for display, and are not considered toys.
